Whoa....

So I this was one of my horoscopes today and considering the dreams I had last night and not only with how vivid they were but how I keep remembering certain bits throughout the day, this is a bit creepy:

Daily Horoscope - Extended For Today: May 11, 2007
Aries:

Whether or not you believe that your dreams are messages from your subconscious, there's no denying that the visions your mind creates while you're sleeping are rooted in some part of your reality. Evaluate the strange images that have been occupying your mind at night, and look at them with an objective eye. You should start to see some patterns emerge. You are being warned about someone -- and it's time to heed those warnings.

So.... yea.... I read this and was like, omg...

On to something happier:

So [info]blue_ophelia87 showed this to me and basically it is hilarious and we have had it stuck in our heads since we both saw it... too good...

Yea it's by the same guy who did the Harry Potter parody, "Wizard People, Dear Reader" which is also AMAZING!

+ you can download it here: http://www.illegal-art.org/video/wizard.html

He'll kick you apart. He'll kick you apart.

He's coming, he's coming, he's coming...

if anyone finds or can make an icon of oh George kicking people apart I would love you forever!

Oh! time to go check in for preshow stuff... and my laptop battery is about to die! ahhhh!

I have returned to school after a nice spring break only to find that apparently our radiator has broken!

We have no heat.

It is FREEZING!! And it sounds like it is just our room too... wtf?!

Well this isn't going to work, we are supposed to get more snow tomorrow (nevermind that it's April and therefore spring and thus should be at least somewhat warm) so this is going to need to be fixed...seriously.

Ok, I'm done typing now. My fingers feel like ice.

Well, the weekend started off wonderfully wth a Snow Day Friday. Of course the school wouldn't officially announce it until 6:30am that morning even though everyone knew Thursday that they would cancel classes, but whatever.

So I slept in until 11am, then Megan, Erik and I had lunch which was yummy because they had Gyros! Then I had to shovel off all the snow that trapped my car in the parking lot (that was much more work than it should have been...). After that, I packed up and then drove back up to the Cities. The roads weren't too bad since the plows had been going for awhile, though there were a few places where the roads were not so good to say the least.

Anyway, I got home, talked to my mum for a bit (she made me try this new exercise ab thing she got which she is going to give to be while she gets he newer model... whatever is all I have to say...). Then I headed over to Julies and we chatted and tried to figure out what to eat for dinner which took quite a long time. Then we found out Tyler's Grandpa had died and of course when we go to pick him up from work suddenly Julie and I can not stop laughing, it was horrible! Granted when it comes to death her and I are weird, Ty it sounded like had already been crying a bit but was trying to keep it together.

He was handling it pretty well when we picked him up and throughout the rest of the night too (apparently after I left  that evening, Julie had gone up stairs to find him crying though, poor guy).

Anyway so we got him Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner (and some mini corn dogs for us) and then we got some food from the Olive Garden. Both places we PACKED. It was a good thing we had ordered everything to go way ahead of time.

We got home with the food around 7pm (we were starving by that time) and then watched some movie that was on tv while we waited for the season finales of Monk and Psych to begin. I can't believe they are already over! That's ridiculous! Now it wont be back again until July! GRR. We were both very sad and very upset that they are over.

So moving on to Saturday:

Julie picked me up at around 11:15 am, then we grabbed coffee at Caribou, and then drove to Julie's parents place in Cannon Falls. We chatted for awhile, watched Marco and Iggy play and bark and run around. Then other members of Julies family came (it was her cousin Miles birthday). And we ate lots of yummy food and hot apple cider. Then we all went sledding (the adults were clearly reliving their childhoods) and  snowmobiling too.

That was sooo much fun! I haven't been sledding in far too long and the hill we went down is actually a road I think so there are all these turns and its surround by trees. It was intense. And Snowmobiling was so much fun too!

Then we came back inside and had cake and ice cream. Shortly after that Julie and I drove back to the cities and I went home to help my mom finish baking my brother's birthday cake. Then the family went out to dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House - that was fabulous! Oh my goodness YUM! Crab cakes, steak, asparagus, broccoli, wine... oh it was good.

Now it is Sunday night, actually technically almost Monday, and we just watched the most ridiculous "documentary" ever.  Anyway, I'm almost out of battery power...

Oh! I talked to my Grandparents today... they are so adorable, I love them... I can't wait to see them again.

oops i forgot to post this entry earlier...

SOOO they officially closed the campus at 1:30pm today, so I didn't have to go to my American Lit class! Plus my 3 hour Drawing Class before that was cancelled too!

annnnnd hopefully tomorrow will be a SNOW DAY too! If it keeps coming down the way it is right now then they probably will close it again.

I'm pretty positive I wont have my World Lit class because the prof lives in the cities and said on Wednesday there was a good chance of him cancelling, so then that just leave my Physics professor.... and unless they close the school we'll be having class... sooooo... I'm crossing my fingers.

ANYWHO, on another note... the read through for The Tempest was on Monday and basically next Monday we start rehearsals and there are going to be a lot of them and for many hours at a time. It should be fun though, the spirits are sure going to be on a lot.

Anyway the great thing about doing the show is that it's really forcing me to get in shape - especially since they told us with all the rope work/climbing and dancing and goodness knows what else we NEED to start pumping some iron. So I've been doing kettlebells and pushups and stretching everyday for the past few days and I intend to keep it up. I am determined. Annnd as an added bonus then I will hopefully be in shape for summer time!

Which at the moment seems so soo sooo far away...

Alright, well I feel like doing somethig artsy or creative or maybe I'll go workout or something, I feel the need to be productive. Ciao!

I'm suddenly in a very pissed off mood. For SO many reasons.

Anyways. I'm just going to try to breathe and not kill anything... or anyone.

OK moving on...

This past weekend I went with my dad to see Cirque de Soleil's Delirium and OMG it was AMAZING!! Oh it was good. I can't even begin to explain...

Anyway Julie and I had also attempted to go looking for more dresses for me for her wedding, that went alright, nothing perfect but nothing horrid.

I got into the Tempest which should be lots of fun. I'll be dancing a lot, and they said we get to do a bunch of rope stuff and ariel ballet possibly too! I hope so, that sounds awesome! We'll see though... There were some weird casting choices made but oh well, it will still be good.

GRRRR!!  technology really sucks sometimes, I've been trying to sign in to this WebAssign program for my physics class, and you are supposed to use your school email username and password to get in but it keeps rejecting mine. I emailed the prof, he said nothing was wrong on his end and to call the helpline. I called the helpline and they said nothing was wrong with my account and to talk to the prof (basically they didn't know what to do, they're going to make a casefile out of it, great...). GAH! I need to take a Pre-Lab quiz (one of many) and I can't get on the site to do it! This is so obnoxious!!

Ok, well I feel like there was more I was going to say but I forget now...

ciao

I got my car back today!

It looks beautiful! The guy washed it for me too AND he's getting me new emblems (since someone stole mine...).

I'm so happy! It feels soooo wonderful to drive my own car again especially with the rental I had. The guys who fixed my car were so sweet, they stayed up until 2am the other night to get it done on time, plus we got huge discounts through them, they will always have our business.

Anyway lots to do today, errands, laundry, cleaning packing... I best get to it...

p.s. it is reallllly freaking cold outside...

This was just for fun, but not too surprising....

Which Jane Austen Character are You? (For Females) Long Quiz!!!
created with QuizFarm.com

You scored as Elizabeth Bennet. As one of Austen's most beloved characters, Elizabeth Bennet represents what most women would like to become: strong, independent, and loyal. Of course, she has her faults including a stubborn will of iron and a clinging to first impressions. Overall, Lizzie is bright and lovable...something to admire and aspire to.

Yes I am at work right now and yes I should be working. I'm taking a break though (unbeknowest to the rest of them) because we just had to go through a ridicously large bunch of kettlebells (all nicely packed in their boxes) to make sure they were all nice and good for this guy to come pick up *maybe* later today.

My tummy is ringing the bell for food, but the servants wont be able to attend to the stomach's need for quite some time I fear.

I got a rental car early Wednesday morning. My car is currently in the shop but should be done late today or early tomorrow morning. Just in time to head back to school.

Anyway, for a rental I got a PT Cruiser and basically they are crappy cars. The handling is AWFUL! And the Turning Radius is even worse! I couldn't believe how bad they are! It may be newer than my camry but my car is sooo much nicer to drive.

The finale of Top Chef was really quite anticlimatic. Mostly because I didn't care who won, I'm still surprised Sam didn't make it into the final 2, but whatevs...

New episodes of Monk and Psych tonight! Yayness!

Plus Julie and I are going to make something/ order something delicious for the festivities!

OH! My dad and I are going to go eat now! Thank goodness!! I am soo hungry and Indian Food sounds divine!!

ETA: Oh, that hit the spot. yummm. PLUS we got coffee afterwards! I am very happy indeed!

Oh. I'm also thinking of maybe changing my lj name. I don't know what to quite yet though, I'll need to think on that, suggestions are of course always welcome...
