An update! whoa... (disclaimer: long entry)

Finally updating...

Yesterday and today were quite interesting days I must say. Will start with yesterday:

So my mum made me demonstrate for both her pilates and kettlebell classes (she still came, but I had to do all the work - cuz shes still recovering from surgery) So that was my morning - from 9:45 am to 1:30 was all that jazz (and I'm certainly feeling it today, my abs are so sore!).

Then, one of the rarest things in the entire history of my life happened ...

My whole family went to the Mall of America together, went into one store together and we all got something. I can't remember the last time my whole family (me, mum, dad and peter) went shopping together, it was crazy, bizarre. My dad wanted to go to this store called Oakley - which they actually have some pretty cute things for both girls and guys - anywho it was awesome because it was kinda of expensive stuff, but my dad paid for all of us, so yay free clothes!

Anywho, then my mum and I went to my old high school to see the Winter Show. That was so much fun, and I saw sooo many people! It was their closing night too and I hadn't a lot of people (like my old drama teachers and friends) for sooo long. So that was wonderful, but also sad, because it made me miss doing shows there, especially like last years Twelfth Night. It was strange though, because then I remembered all my college friends and then suddenly I missed them, so yea... i dont really remember where I was going with that...

Moving on to the events of today:

Sooo, i got up this morning, went to Caribou to get a coffe and a lemon poppyseed bar (i totally thought of you Megan! It's not the same eating it without you... haha i'm such a dork!) Anywho, so yay for Caribou! Then my mum, her friend Kitty (they used to dance together years back) and I went to the Oak Street Cinema near the U to see a documentary thing called "Ballets Russes" about the famous ballet companies. It was amazing! Simply wonderful! Sooo much footage!! And all these interviews of all these famous dancers. OOOO!! and MEGAN!! Salvador Dali (and Matisse) did set and costume designs for the ballet companies!! As soon as they mentioned that, I was like I have to tell Megan! Because she loves Dali! So that was so cool... it did make me miss ballet and performing, I need to get back in shape...

Anywho then my mum and I met up with my dad and brother who were going to see a demo at this new Tai Chi place, that was really cool too! I want to start doign more martial arts again! My dad and I might go to a class tomorrow night actually, so that should be fun...

Then after that I went to this jazz club with my mum where there was a tango band playing. A lot of her tango friends were there, the dance floor was packed naturally, and we chatted and ate dinner (and dessert too of course) for a couple hours. It was a lot of fun.

And now I have returned home and feel a lot like drawing or doing some artistic thing... I also need to start working on the stuff for the Ok Go DVD at some point... hmmm anywho, I'm off!
